“I cannot…concede that the Election was free, fair and free from fear”, says SKNLP’s Leader
Although the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) only secured two of the 11 seats in the National Assembly at the June 5th General Elections, the Party’s Leader, Dr. the Hon. Denzil Douglas, said he cannot agree that the elections were fair.
In a landslide victory, the Team Unity coalition made up of three (3) political parties here in St. Kitts and Nevis namely: the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) Party, the People’s Action Movement (PAM) and People’s Labour Party (PLP) secured 9 seats in the National Assembly (CCM-3, PAM-4, PLP-2).
Dr. Douglas claimed that the Team Unity coalition had an “unfair advantage”.
