Citizens, residents and visitors will now have the option to purchase their ferry tickets online between the Charlestown and Basseterre terminals via a new online medium known as “IFARE”.
The newly developed technology allows its users to access information relating to the schedule, cancellation and conditions of the participating ferry operators as well as purchasing ETickets for daily trips between the sister islands.
Providing more information to the VON NEWSLINE on the service was President of the OECS Robotics Association, Executive Director of the St. Kitts-Nevis Robotics Association and Developer/Founder of IFARE, Mr. Brandon Powell:
According to Mr. Powell, Apple Syder is the initial and lone operator available on the app thus far, as works are ongoing to add others to the platform along with additional services.
