St. Kitts and Nevis MET Office continues to monitor the impacts of La Soufriere Volcanic eruption

A few days after the eruption of the La Soufriere Volcano in St. Vincent, there have been accounts of the smell of Sulphur and light ash residue here in St. Kitts and Nevis. 

The volcano erupted on Friday morning, April 9th

With respect to the foregoing, the VONNEWSLINE spoke with Senior Meteorological Officer at the Meteorological Office in St. Kitts – Mr. Elmo Burke who provided this recommendation to persons who may have health concerns about the Volcanic emissions:
