Investigations into tourist death at Pinney’s Beach Nevis continuing ten months later

On Sunday, 24th February 2019, Keryan Grimault Queret of France was struck while swimming at Pinney’s Beach by Motor Vessel “Good Luck” at about 4:30 p.m. and died.

 

The vessel is owned by Vincent Perkins, but was being operated by someone else at that time.

 

 24 year old, Grimault Queret, was pronounced dead on the scene.

 

Police report indicated that at the time that the person who was operating the boat was in police custody assisting with the investigations.

 

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Andre Mitchell, speaking at the Prime Minister’s Press Conference gave this update on the case.
