Irish Town Primary School dubbed winners of Charleton Edwards Memorial Primary School Quiz

Students of the Irish Town Primary School were dubbed the winners of the recently held Charleton Edwards Memorial Primary School Quiz.

 

 

 

The Irish Town Primary School also won the Most Outstanding Student Award.

 

 

 

Other awardees of the competition were the 1st runner up: the Seventh-Day Adventist Primary School and 2nd runner up: Saddlers Primary School.

 

 

 

The finals for the quiz competition which took place on Wednesday, March 15th at the CUNA Caribbean Conference Center in St. Kitts, saw five teams compete for the winning spot.

 

 

 

They were the Seventh-Day Adventist Primary, Saddlers Primary, Irish Town Primary, Beach Allen Primary and the George Moody Stuart Primary Schools.

 

 

 

These five schools made it to the finals from a roster of 16 that engaged in elimination rounds in late January this year.

 

 

 

They included: Tucker Clarke, Bronte Welsh, Dr. William Connor, Cayon Primary, Maurice Hillier Memorial Junior School, Dieppe Bay, Deane Glasford, St. Paul’s, Immaculate Conception Catholic School and Newton Ground
