Maloney’s autopsy report shows death due to gunshot wounds to the head

An autopsy was performed on the body of 28-year-old Dequan Maloney of Upper Shaw Avenue, but who resided at Bird Rock in St. Kitts on Thursday, February 3rd, 2023 by Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez.

 

 

 

Dr. Nuñez concluded that death was as a result of severe head injury due to multiple gunshot wounds to the head and body.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, a 2nd autopsy was performed, this time on the body of 30-year-old Silvester Crossley of McKnight, but who resided in Half Way Tree. The autopsy was done on Monday, February 6th, by Dr. Nuñez.

 

 

 

He concluded that death was as a result of hypovolemic shock due to multiple gunshot wounds to the body and head.

 

 

 

And, a third firearm has been taken into Police custody for 2023.

 

 

 

On Thursday, acting on information while investigating a shooting incident at New Pond Site in St. Kitts, the Police conducted a search and found one (1) Sig Sauer 223 pistol with one .380 round of ammunition.

 

 

 

Both the firearm and ammunition were taken into Police custody.

 

 

 

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
