A man was arrested and charged by police in connection with one of SKN’s recent murders.

A Police Communique says 32-year-old Jamari Herbert of John Street, Newtown/Upper Monkey Hill, St. Kitts, was charged on Tuesday April 23rd, at the Cayon Police Station, in connection with the murder of Elston Estridge of Conaree Village, St. Kitts.

The incident occurred on Thursday April 18th, between 1:30 P.M. and 2:00 P.M. at John Street. Lawmen observed Mr. Estridge, 38, lying on the ground with gunshot wounds about the body, after responding to the scene.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigations indicate that Mr. Estridge was accosted by an armed assailant who fled the scene afterwards. This was the Federation’s 11th murder for 2024.
