Man sentenced to serve 18 years for 2019 armed robbery and wounding

A man was sentenced to serve 18 years at His Majesty’s Prison for the offences of one count of Armed Robbery and two counts of Wounding with Intent, which occurred on June 18th, 2019 at West Farm, St. Kitts.

 

Anthony Adams of West Farm, who was initially charged with Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, and Wounding with Intent, was arraigned on June 29th, 2024.

 

According to a Police Communique, on December 9th 2024, he was found guilty of Armed Robbery and both counts of Wounding with Intent. He was summarily sentenced to serve twelve (12) years for Armed Robbery, and three (3) years for each count of Wounding with Intent.

 

The sentences are set to run concurrently, however, time spent on remand will be counted as time served. Mr. Adams’ sentence was handed down on April 7th, 2025 by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC, at the High Court in Basseterre.
