He was speaking in relation to the Gulf Insurance Inter-Primary School Athletics Competition alias Mini Olympics, which was originally slated for Wednesday Apr. 1st.
Mr. Brantley gave the rationale behind the postponement of the Mini Olympics.
Premier Brantley was at the time on Thursday Mar. 19th, delivering an address regarding both the Mini Olympics and 2020 Agriculture Open Day.
Open Day is an annual event here on Nevis which showcases local produce and products, as well as to give local vendors an opportunity to generate income. The event was slated for Mar. 26th to the 27th 2020.
However, the Ministry of Agriculture here on Nevis being cognizant of the need for greater food security, will host a Farmers’ Market.
