A Town Hall Meeting in the St. Thomas’ Constituency took place at the Jessup’s Community Centre, on July 3^rd, 2025, where Minister of Public Works, Physical Planning, et. al, the Hon. Spencer Brand made this statement:

Minister Brand stated that the Public Works Department will focus on improving secondary roads and infrastructure in the various villages and communities across the island.

Some of the communities and developments that would see these activities in the near future are Barns Ghaut, Cotton ground, Jessup’s, Paradise, Clifton, and Craddock Road.

Issues that will be addressed include road flooding, efficient drainage, maintenance of pipes and other related activities to improve water infrastructure:
