As part of the celebrations for Teachers’ Month this October, the Ministry of Education will hold a teacher’s social activity dubbed “Recess 3.0” on Friday October 25^th, 2024 at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This activity first began a few years ago with the purpose of showing school staff appreciation, to unwind, suit up and socialize with their colleagues and features a different theme each year.

This year’s theme is “Old School Groove, 80s Vs. 90s” with an “80s or 90s” inspired or “Retro Glam” dress code. 

Teachers who participate can expect a decorated venue, giveaways, food, drinks and entertainment. There will be a “Karaoke Showdown” and teachers are encouraged to take their crew and sing their hearts out in the “Battle of the Decades Karaoke Showcase”.
