The Ministry of Education will soon hold its Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) week.
This was confirmed by Principal Education Officer, Ms. Zahnela Claxton during Saturday’s ‘Youth on the Go’ Program where she expounded on a number of STEM related initiatives held thus far including the STEM Symposium held on March 2nd and expected initiatives to commence throughout the year.
Ms. Claxton explained the Ministry’s plans to launch STEM related projects over the years but ultimately being hampered by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
STEM week will run from May 22nd to 26th and will consist of a number of activities surrounding school students across Nevis. Ms. Claxton gives us more:
