Four nationals from Nevis that were reported missing at sea, have been found alive.

According to information obtained from the Coast Guard, they received information of a missing vessel that was returning from Anguilla’s Poker Run on Aug. 12th, which encountered difficulty at sea.

A search was conducted by the St. Eustatius (Statia’s) Coast Guard where they found an overturned vessel and none of the occupants. SKN’s Coast Guard joined the search and rescue efforts.

But a police spokesperson from the Police Force in SKN, informed the VONNEWSLINE on Monday Aug. 14th, that the missing persons “have been found alive by St. Maarten’s Authorities.”
