Monday morning traffic accident claims the life of one in St. Kitts

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have confirmed that there was a fatal traffic accident that occurred close to the Fisheries Complex, Industrial Site, Basseterre, St. Kitts on Monday, June 12th, 2023.

 

 

 

Sometime between 2am and 3am, PA 2819 driven by Elston Samuel and owned by Maurice “EK” Flanders collided with a metal fence. He was fatally injured during the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations on the matter are on-going.

 

 

 

Additionally, in a press release, the police have confirmed that they have solved the last two recorded murders in the federation.

 

 

 

On Saturday June 10th, the police charged Keith Godwin of Prickley Pear Alley in St. Kitts, with Murder. The crime was committed on the morning of Tuesday, June 6th and claimed the life of Alden “OJ” Maynard of Shadwell Estate, St. Kitts.

 

 

 

Alden was recorded as the federation’s 15th murder victim for the year. Later that afternoon, the 16th victim (Vaughn Parris) was shot and killed in Dorset Park. According to the police, also on June 10th, Nyon Dasent of Wades Garden, St. Kitts was arrested and charged for Parris’ murder.

 

 

 

Furthermore, the police thanked all who assisted with the above-mentioned and reminds the public that with continued collaboration, the surge of criminal activity could swiftly be solved. This stands as testimony of what can be accomplished when the society and law enforcement work together.
