National Assembly convenes on Tuesday July 11th

A Sitting of the National Assembly will be at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, on Tuesday July 11th, at 10am.

Several Bills will come before the House, three for their first reading and four for their 2nd reading.

 

Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, will seek leave to introduce and have (say red) read a first time, the Public Accounts Committee Bill 2017 and National Assembly Elections (Amendment) Bill, 2017 and will also seek leave to introduce and have read a 2nd time, the St. Christopher and Nevis Citizenship (CBI Escrow Accounts) Bill 2017, which had its first reading on June 13th 2017.

Additionally, Attorney General, the Hon. Vincent Byron, will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time Legal Profession (Amendment) Bill 2017.

 

The Attorney General will also seek leave to introduce and have read a 2nd time the Land Registry Bill 2017, which had its first reading on February 16th 2017, Registration and Records (Amendment) Bill 2017, which had its first reading on June 13th 2017 and Title by Registration Act (Amendment) Bill 2017, which had its first reading on June 13th 2017.

The National Assembly will be carried live on ZIZ Radio and participating radio stations.

 

It can also be viewed live on TV Channel 5 in St. Kitts and Channel 98 in Nevis.
