Notice has been given for a Sitting of the National Assembly to be held on Wednesday Dec. 13th, at 10:00 a.m. at the National Assembly Chambers, Government Headquarters, Basseterre, St. Kitts.

At that Sitting, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Terrance Drew, will present the 2024 Federal Budget Address (which features the 1st reading of The Appropriation (2024) Bill, 2023.

The Bill is a legislative measure aimed at allocating funds for the services of Saint Christopher and Nevis for the financial year starting from January 1st, 2024 and concluding on December 31st, 2024.

Following this, budgetary debates will continue from Thursday, December 14th.

The Appropriation Bill (2023), 2022 or the 2023 Federal Budget, which was passed in the National Assembly in December 2022, was to the tune of approximately EC$1.02 billion.
