Nevis’ Premier, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Hon. Mark Brantley, will lead a delegation to the 9th Annual Private Wealth Latin America & the Caribbean Forum where members of his team will promote the products and services being offered in the Financial Services Sector on the island.

The Forum will be held in Miami, Florida from November 2nd to 3rd. It is a one-day networking and peer education platform, which covers asset allocation, trust and estate planning, family governance, risk management and alternative asset classes.

Delegates from Nevis will host four sessions during the Forum, including a roundtable discussion on “Nevis: The Undiscovered Possibilities”, and a panel discussion focused on exploring offshore jurisdiction choices for Latin America.

A release from the NIA says the Financial Services Sector generates between ten and fifteen million dollars in revenue per year to the Nevis economy. In this regard, it is the Premier’s hope that the Financial Services sector can become a major contributor to the economy of the island of Nevis.

As Mr. Brantley is off island on official duties, Deputy Premier of Nevis, Hon. Alexis Jeffers, is serving as Acting Premier until November 3rd.
