Nevis was one of the three (3) islands dubbed “new favorite Caribbean destinations”, by Essence Magazine. Essence is a monthly lifestyle magazine covering fashion, beauty, entertainment, and culture.

According to Essence.com, it spoke of Nevis and other islands and mentioned “instead of traveling to one of the common Caribbean locations everyone else flocks to…Consider discovering Nevis, South Caicos or Virgin Gorda for some serious off-the-beaten-path travel.”

It added “all three of these destinations promise an abundance of swoon-worthy moments in beautiful locales and a true departure from your predictable island vacay.”

The Magazine named Golden Rock Inn as one of the places to stay, and stated “Sunshine’s Beach Bar & Grill is a must-visit”.
