Nevis Sixth Form College to become independent institution says NIA government
The Nevis Sixth Form College is expected to be separated from the Charlestown Secondary School in the near future.
This was announced by Deputy Governor General in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, Her Honor – Mrs. Hyleeta Liburd OBE, MH during the Throne Speech of the Opening of the New Session of the Nevis Island Assembly (today) Thursday, Jan. 19th, 2023.
The speech was centered on the newly appointed government’s plan for their five-year term in office.
The Deputy Governor General spoke on the government’s plans to upgrade the Nevis Sixth Form College into a better and more efficient state and the Education sector on a whole where they pledged to introduce a number of program courses and initiatives to improve the opportunities for students across the island.
