Nevis to receive fully integrated Emergency Dispatch System

The island of Nevis is on its way to receive a fully Integrated Emergency Dispatch System courtesy of the Four Seasons Homeowners Foundation.

That is according to Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley.

The emergency dispatch system for Nevis is expected to cover Police, Fire, Disaster and Ambulance/Hospital Services.

The Four Seasons Homeowners Foundation is a charity dedicated to help improve the lives of all Nevisians in the areas of Health, Education and Community according to their website.

Since 2003, the Foundation was created by homeowners on the Four Seasons Resort Estates and has donated to many worthy causes ranging from lifesaving equipment for the Alexandra Hospital to providing hearing aids for hearing impaired children and assisting women threatened by domestic violence.

Premier Brantley attended a Meeting with members of the Four Seasons Homeowners Foundation on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022.

According to the Premier, the briefing was meant to “update stakeholders as to the proposed system and critical upgrades to be implemented”. Mr. Brantley stated that “This system will take emergency response in Nevis to modern standards.”
