Nevisian and fourth former tops CCSLC’s Regional Merit List

Nevisian Tejanah David ranked #1 in the Federation and the Caribbean for the Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) 2023 Regional Merit List by subject (specifically English).

 

 

 

Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) first offered the Caribbean CCSLC in June 2007, which “responds to the changing demands of education, and is designed to certify the knowledge, generic competencies and attitudes and values that all secondary school leavers should have attained”, cxc.org says. Miss David, a 4th form student at the Charlestown Secondary School (CSS), told the VONNEWSLINE she was “shocked”:

Joshua Browne of Nevis for (Digital Literacy), Nigel Miller and Amendeus Woodley for (Mathematics) both of Washington Archibald High School, were also on the Merit List.
