The demand rate for residential customers for all single-phase domestic use is the sum of the Demand Charges and the Standing Charge.
The Demand Charge for first 50 units is $ 0.51 /unit, for the next 75 units $ 0.49 /unit and for above 125 units $ 0.47 /unit. Standing Charge is structured as $ 7.20 Consumption up to 120 units, $12.00 Consumption above 120 units up to 250 units, $18.00 Consumption above 250 units.
For commercial customers, the Demand Charge is, for the first 50 x kVA units $ 0.52 /unit, for the next 75 x kVA units $ 0.50 /unit, for the next 125 x kVA units $ 0.48 /unit and for the remaining units $ 0.44 /unit.
The Standing Charge is $13.20 per 250 units with the commercial rate comprising of the energy charge, standing charge and surplus
