New Call Centre on Nevis to commence operations in April 2023, “good news” says Premier

An investor will be taking over the Call Centre, which was once, Brown Hill Communications (BHC) on Nevis.

 

 

 

Premier and Minister of Foreign Investments, Hon. Mark Brantley, spoke of this development during his “On the Mark” Show on March 1st, on VON Radio:

 

 

 

 

 

BHC closed its doors on September 3rd, 2019 and was in operation since October 23rd, 2008.

 

 

 

The reason behind the closure of the call center according to Mr. Brantley back in 2019, “was due to the main client ‘Bell Canada’ changing its business model to automated service thereby eliminating the jobs of 138 employees.”

 

 

 

Persons who worked with BHC for one to seven years, received a gratuitous payment of three months’ salary, those who worked for eight to nine years received four months’ salary and those who worked over 10 years received five months’ salary. Premier Brantley stated that:
