The first film project that was shot by MSR Media on Nevis, One Year Off, was released earlier this week on Tuesday, February, 7th on Amazon Prime. The film was bought and released by Lionsgate Company based in the United States.
The MSR Media Production Company, has released a number of films shot on Nevis and has been the first entity to expose Nevis on such a large scale in the film industry.
Speaking on the accomplishments and the increased economic activity since the company’s arrival was Premier of Nevis, Hon Mark Brantley. Minister Brantley spoke on the new jobs created on the island, claiming nearly a hundred persons have been hired because of the introduction of the film industry. He also spoke on the increase in jobs in the hospitality industry where a number of hotels, villas and restaurants have had an increase in activity caused by the crew and actors of MSR Media.
