Here on Nevis, the Department of Agriculture has a wide variety of seeds available for both largescale and backyard farmers. The initiative has been put in place to increase the amount of produce grown locally.
The collection of seeds includes asparagus, cantaloupe, honey dew, bunching onions, watermelon, okra and different varieties of lettuce.
