William De La Cruz of Newtown, St. Kitts, has been charged for several offences.

He was charged with attempting to convey a Portion of a Plant, to wit Cannabis into His Majesty’s Prison; Attempting to Convey a Portion of a Plant, to wit Tobacco into His Majesty’s Prison; Attempting to take one cellphone chip into His Majesty’s Prison.

The offences were committed on Wednesday April 17th, and Mr. De La Cruz was charged on Friday April 19th, at the Basseterre Police Station.

Meantime, Inon Nias of Greenlands, St. Kitts, was charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.

The offence was committed on Saturday April 20th, and the charge was laid on Monday April 22nd, at the Basseterre Police Station.
