The Nevis Island Administration (NIA) will commence additional work at the Alexandra Hospital, specifically for departments such as the laundry and other auxiliary services.

Earlier this year, the Government commissioned a commercial grade kitchen. The project included expanded and modernized food preparation areas, improved storage facilities, walk in refrigerators and freezers.

Minister of Health-Nevis, the Hon. Jahnel Nisbett, indicated a major rehabilitation project will begin in the not-too-distant future, which will include the hospital laundry and revamping in terms of the electrical aspect.
