NRP elaborates on plan to stimulate economic activity on Nevis, under an NRP-led NIA

With the economy of Nevis decimated because of the Covid-19 pandemic, under a Nevis Reformation Party (NRP)-led Nevis Island Administration (NIA), what will the Party do to stimulate economic activity?

 

This was posed at a press conference hosted by the Party on Aug. 27th. Leader of the party (Candidate for Nevis #4, St. James’ Parish), Dr. Janice Daniel-Hodge, went into detail concerning a plan to stir economic activity on Nevis, given the present circumstances:

The current Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM)-led NIA has, during the pandemic, offered free water, given land to farmers to help boost food production, thereby encouraging self-reliance, free fish pot wire to the fisher-folk, distributed food vouchers to families that were severely impacted by the pandemic, through the Social Services Department, inter alia.
