“Oualie Water Taxi has played a major role in transforming the mode on travel here in St. Kitts and Nevis” says Hon. Alexis Jeffers

The Oualie Water Facility was one of the topics that were mentioned during the ‘On Point’ Program which was aired on December 6^th with host and Advisor to the Premier, Hon. Alexis Jeffers.

Mr. Jeffers stated that Nevis’ Oualie Water Taxi Facility is playing a major role in the mode of travel in St. Kitts and Nevis.

He gave data on the amount of passengers that traversed through the facility up to the end of November 2024:

December 31^st, 2024 will make two (2) years since the first tally of passengers used the facility and the 2^nd year in a row that over 250,000 passengers would have traveled by means of the water taxi. Further, Mr. Jeffers is anticipating that these numbers will increase in the next 2 years.
