The voice of Principal Education Officer, Ms. Zahnela Claxton as she listed the outstanding students who were recognized on Nevis in celebration of International Day of the Girl Child.

 Ms. Claxton continued by congratulating each student on achieving such an accolade and added:

The initiative was invented to honour young girls who demonstrated leadership skills along with their involvement in school and community based activities. 

It was organized by the Department of Gender Affairs in collaboration with the Department of Education.
