Phased reopening of schools to safeguard students

“We took the decision to have a phased reopening of schools”

 

That’s the word from Principal Education Officer (PEO) here on Nevis, Ms. Zahnela Claxton.  This, as St. Kitts and Nevis and by extension the world, continues to battle against the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic.

 

Protocols have been implemented to cater to the health and safety of students, staff and visitors.

 

These include but are not limited to: the wearing of masks upon arrival at the school compounds that covers your nose and mouth, daily temperature checks (the results will be recorded in a screening record book), etc.

 

Ms. Claxton provided this update to the Nevisian public about the reopening of Primary Schools.
