One man was injured in a shooting incident in the McKnight area in St. Kitts, sometime during the morning hours on Monday January 8th.

A police spokesperson told the VONNEWSLINE that the victim, identified as Addison Martinez aka “Eggman”, was taken to the JNF General Hospital via EMS where he underwent emergency surgery.

Meantime, One individual is in custody as a shooting incident occurred on Friday night Jan. 5th in St. Kitts, but no one was injured, police say. Videos on social media depict lawmen searching several properties in Conaree.

Sources say at least 20 gunshots were fired and came following a conflict between a group of young men. Investigations continue.
