Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, has sought to encourage the public to get vaccinated during the “Leadership Matters” program, on Tuesday March 2nd.
The Federation rolled out its vaccination program on Monday February 22nd, at the Newtown Health Centre, in St. Kitts and here on Nevis. On Nevis, the program was rolled out on Wednesday February 24th, at the Charlestown Health Centre.
Also, the Federation is still slated to receive 21,600 vaccines from the COVAX facility, according to Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hazel Laws.
With this in mind, Prime Minster Harris took the opportunity to encourage the public to get vaccinated.

The goal of the Federal Government, is to achieve herd immunity by having more than 70 percent of the population immunized, against COVID-19.
