The general public is currently being encouraged to lend their support to the representatives from Nevis who will participate in this year’s Leeward Island Debating Competition in St. Kitts.
The event which will take place from February 29th to March 3rd will be the first since the onset of the Covid 19 Pandemic.
The team comprises of students from the Literary Debating Society of the Nevis Sixth Form College. Urging the public to support the team on their journey towards the competition was Permanent Secretary of Education, Ms. Zahnela Claxton.
Ms. Claxton also encouraged persons to support the remaining fundraisers of the society and to provide whatever assistance possible:
