Twelve (12) restaurants here on Nevis are among 50 restaurants across the Federation registered to participate in the 3rd edition of Restaurant Week here in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Over the period July 19th to 30th 2017, participating restaurants will offer special restaurant week menus at one of three price points.
The themed ingredient for this year’s edition is local yam.
As part of events leading up to Restaurant Week, the participating restaurants and hotels here on Nevis held a Tasting Showcase at the Four Season Resort on Saturday 15th July, where they provided samples of dishes made with the themed ingredient, Yam.
At Saturday’s event, Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism here on Nevis, Mr. John Hanley spoke of the objectives of Restaurant Week.
National Co-ordinator of Restaurant Week, Ms. Kathy Pessolano informed the gathering of an activity dubbed Taste of TDC which will be held on July 28th 2017.
Restaurant Week is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministries of Tourism on both islands.
