Schools across SKN come to a close on Friday March 31st

All public primary and secondary Schools across St. Kitts & Nevis closed their doors on Friday March 31st, signaling the official end on Term 2 of the academic year 2022-2023.

 

 

 

This term dubbed the “Sports Term” began on January 9th 2023, following the end of Term 1 (or closure of schools) on December 2nd, 2022.

 

 

 

Students were engaged in a number of sporting events, especially track and field events. The most recent being the recently-concluded TDC Inter-High school Championship (March 24th to the 26th), where the Charles E. Mills Secondary emerged victorious, for the 27th time but 7th consecutively. Nevis’ Charlestown Secondary stood out this year as well, as they took 2nd place.

 

 

 

“Mini Olympics” or Inter-Primary Schools’ Championship, the climax for track events on Nevis will be held on Wednesday April 5th.

 

 

 

Term 3 of the 2022-2023 academic year, according to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Education-Nevis, begins on April 24th, 2023
