St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN) joins the rest of the world in celebrating Public Works Week. 

Accordingnpww.apwa.net, Public Works Week was established “to educate the public on the importance of public works in their daily lives: planning, building, managing and operating in their local communities to improve everyday quality of life”. 

In his address to launch the week of activities, Federal Minister of Public Infrastructure Deputy Prime Minister – Hon. Shawn Richards made these remarks regarding the 2021 theme for Public Works Week:

The week of  activities run from Sunday May 23^rd to Saturday May 29^th.
