The Police have informed the VON NEWSLINE of a drowning incident that occurred at the South East Peninsula on Monday, March 27th, 2023.

According to preliminary reports, the Police are investigating the death of a male British National who was part of a group of about 48 other visitors on a snorkeling excursion at Peninsula Cove at about 10:00 a.m.

The VONNEWSLINE spoke with the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Royal St. Kitts and Nevis Police Force, Mr. Cromwell Henry, who stated that this is the first drowning incident that has occurred for the year.

No further details were provided on the incident.
