The Parties vying for the 11 seats are: People’s Labour Party (PLP with 8 candidates), the People’s Action Movement (PAM with 8 candidates), the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP with 8 candidates), the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM-3 candidates), the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP-3 candidates), and the Moral Restoration Movement (MRM-2 candidates).
In addition, according to Mr. Bailey, the two independents out of St. Kitts are: John D Jeffers of the United Liamuigan Party (ULP) who will only run in St. Christopher #2 (Central Basseterre) and Carlton Dupont in St. Christopher #6.
Polls will be opened at 7am and close at 6pm. Any and all persons in line at the precinct of the polling station will be allowed to vote. Anyone who comes in line after 6pm will not be allowed to vote.
