Why persons are not immediately tested when they are quarantined?

That’s a question posed to St. Kitts and Nevis’ Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Hazel Laws.

Here in the Federation, the quarantine period is 14 days. 

However, Dr. Laws explained that it is not prudent to test persons at the start of the quarantine period.
