Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, issued a congratulatory Message to President-elect Donald Trump, following his victory at the polls.

Mr. Trump has won 294 of the 538 electoral college votes, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris, while also securing the popular vote with 71.8 million votes or over 50 per cent of all ballots cast. A simple majority of electoral votes (270 or more) is required to elect the president and vice president.

PM Drew said in his message, “on behalf of the government and people of St. Kitts and Nevis, I extend congratulations to President-elect Donald Trump, on his election victory.”

He added “He addedSt. Kitts and Nevis looks forward to continuing our strong partnership with the United States. Together, we can strengthen our shared values of democracy, expand economic opportunities, and advance our mutual interests for global peace and stability.”
