Based on information from the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI-SRC), an Earthquake was recorded near Basseterre, St. Kitts, on Wednesday Apr. 4th.

UWI-SRC says the 3.5 magnitude quake occurred at around midnight local time.

It was at Latitude: 17.59 degrees N, Longitude: 61.21 degrees W, at a depth of 59 km.

It also occurred near, Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, 88 km, NE, Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe, 153 km, NNE and Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis, 172 km, ENE.
