St Kitts and Nevis, Saba, Statia, French Saint Martin, Dutch St. Maarten, Anguilla and St. Barths, have come together to form a Caribbean Group of 8, to launch an Intra-regional Tourism Marketing campaign.
This is according to a press release from the Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) on August 11th 2020.
These countries have joined together to amplify their presence in the tourism industry, in preparation of a post COVID-19 norm.
According to CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority, Ms. Jadine Yarde, the common objective is to “promote inter-regional travel capitalizing on our proximity to each other, and travelers’ desire to discover new experiences, collecting passport stamps along the way for bragging rights.”
