On Friday, April 7^th 2022, an opening ceremony was held for the new headquarters of the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympics Committee (SKNOC). 

Present at the Ceremony was President of the SKNOC, Mr. Alphonso Bridgewater who had this to say: 

Meanwhile, President of the Panamsports and International Olympic Committee (IOC) member, Mr. Nevin Ilic made these words of commitment to aiding in the developing of the Sports sector in SKN: 

The SKNOC is a non-profit, non-governmental Sporting organization lead by a nine member executive body. The St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Association was established by constitution on May 27^th, 1986. 

At the 101st Session of the IOC in Monte Carlo, Monaco on Friday, September 24^th 1993, the St. Kitts and Nevis National Olympic Committee was officially recognized by the IOC.
