The Ministry of Health Nutrition Surveillance Programme (St. Kitts-Nevis) in collaboration with the Taiwan ICDF will be holding an Essay Writing Competition in celebration of World Obesity Day.

World Obesity Day is a day of action that calls for a cohesive, cross-sector response to the global issue of obesity. It takes place on March 4th and is convened by the World Obesity Federation in collaboration with its global members.

On a local front, the competition organizers are calling on students fitting the eligible age range to better incorporate the nation’s youth as well as providing a platform for them to use their voice on the health challenge.
