Students that arrived from Jamaica released from quarantine

Dr. Laws was speaking during Friday’s CoVID-19 Briefing in St. Kitts.

 

The Federation’s students studying in Jamaica, who had difficulty getting back to St. Kitts and Nevis due to border closures as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, were repatriated on Thursday, April 30th, 2020.

 

The students were brought back to the Federation on a chartered flight organized by the Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs and were subject to quarantine for at least 14 days.

 

21 of those students are from Nevis.
