Taiwan remains SKN’s “best friend”, business from Indian community “is welcomed”

Following Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris’ call at the UN General Assembly on Sep. 24th, for the inclusion of the Republic of China (Taiwan), in the international community, Nevis’ Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs & Aviation, stated that ROC (Taiwan) is our “best friend.”

 

In an interview on Sep. 25th, with the Executive Editor of  WION TV, Palki Sharma, to discuss a issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the growing Indian community in St. Kitts and Nevis etc, Minister Mark Brantley explained why Taiwan is such a friend.

 

 

Taiwan was the first country to build diplomatic relations with the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis, on Sept. 19th 1983 (SKN’s Independence).

Mr. Brantley also said that the Federation is open for business to the Indian community.
