Because of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, prices on commodities such as gasoline have soared. On Nevis, a notice from the Bus Association stated “there will be an increase in bus fares which would take effect from May 1st, 2022.”
The Premier had this to say:
He stated that though the NIA’s Cabinet has not met with the Bus Association to discuss the increase on bus fare, discussions will have to be had.
