October is known as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The month is used annually to educate everyone about the disease and the importance of early detection which can help to save lives.

In a discussion with Marketing Assistant at the TDC Group of Companies, Dominic Matthew, he spoke about the significance of Breast Cancer Awareness and in recognition of persons who have lost their lives, these are a list of activities that will exist for the entire month at TDC for the general public:

During the month, persons will celebrate with wearing the colour pink in recognition of their friends and loved ones who is currently going through or who have lost their battle with the disease. According to breastcancer.org, “the month aims to promote screening and prevention of the disease, which affects one in eight women in the United States every year and 2.3 million women worldwide”.
