The JNF General Hospital is set to enhance its healthcare services by opening a new operating theatre mainly for maternity patients but also for emergencies.

The project was made possible by the support of the St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board (SSB), which also equipped existing theatres with advanced medical tools.

 These tools were showcased at the recent Caribbean Society of Endoscopic Surgeons Conference. Dr. Jenson Morton, the Director of Health Institutions, expressed gratitude for the SSB’s assistance in upgrading the hospital’s facilities to meet international standards.

The Ministry of Health also recognized the SSB’s contributions to improving healthcare in St. Kitts and Nevis.

 These developments align with the hospital’s goal of achieving international accreditation and providing top-notch healthcare to the citizens.
